In Memoriam

Heaven gained an extra choir member this week.

Evangelyna Etienne was dearly, dearly beloved member of the music department as well as the Gordon community as a whole.  She was an incredible source of light and joy to all of us who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be sorely missed.

I don't always understand why God works the way he does - why some people are called home sooner than others - but I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to have worked her her, lived with her, and heard her beautiful voice, which is now glorifying God in union with the angelic host.
